Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharide is a secondary metabolite of the genus Ganoderma lucidum fungus mycelium,
which is present in the mycelium and fruiting bodies of the genus Ganoderma. Ganoderma lucidum fruit body is pulverized and added with a small amount of medium for fermentation. After fermentation, the raw materials are centrifuged, and the supernatant is concentrated under vacuum at low temperature, dialysis, ethanol precipitation, acetone washing, protein removal, spray drying, and finally 10% water-dried dry powder is mixed. Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharide is light brown to brown powder and soluble in hot water.
Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharide has many kinds of pharmacological activities: It can improve the body's immunity, accelerate blood microcirculation, improve blood oxygen supply capacity, reduce the ineffective oxygen consumption in the body at rest, eliminate free radicals in the body, and improve the cell membrane sealing degree. It can also resist radiation, improve the ability of the liver, bone marrow, blood to synthesize DNA, RNA, and protein, and prolong life. Most of the pharmacological activities of Ganoderma lucidum are related to Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides.
